He An (b. 1970, Wuhan, China), studied in the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts, currently lives and works in Beijing. His practice covers various media, often combining industrial materials to create site-specific installations filled with narrations. He has always been concerned about cultural, historical and social issues, this personal wide interest makes his works synchronize with the “current” in a geopolitical and aesthetical aspect.
